Help Removing front rotors

I went to remove my front rotors today and after removing the caliper hit a wall....the 2 set screws holding the rotors on wouldn't budge...can any one offer some advice as to how to get these screws out...especially since the damn rotor spins unless you are pressing the brake peddel and, when its on a jack that doesnt seem to be an option for me. Help Please!

lots of penetrating lube...and an impact screwdriver will work. Without the latter try the lube...with a fried stepping on the brakes to get them to sit still :D

You could always use a C clamp to pinch the brake pad againt the rotor.
One end on the brake pad and the other end on the back of the brake caliper..

Thanks for the help, I think I'll get the impact driver and give that a shot...there is no way I am risking having someone press the brake peddel when the car is on a jack so that C clamp idea seems to be the safest bet in my mind...anyway thanks again

Shouldn't be working on a car on a jack in any circumstance...except changing a tire.....get some jack stands......they are cheap insurance!

With an impact driver...you shouldn't have a problem with the rotor turning

Good luck!!!
