Front Wheel Bearings

After hitting a curb and breaking my RF wheel - I need new wheel bearing on that side. It's making clunking sound and there's a lot of play when jacked up and wiggle the wheel.

Dealer says the front hub and bearings are all one piece - $200+

Any opinions or advice?

Thanks!

Yup Replace it and get an alignment

It should be about $150 US... not $200

Wheel bearings part of the HUB? How can that be?

wheel bearing is not part of the hub, but sold as one pice. Make more money that way.

See that's what I said, not one piece.

That does not mean in your case that it would not be better to replace both.

The hub you are talking about, is that the brake rotor?

Mazda probably doesn't make the bearing- good chance you can find just the bearing somewhere else if you want to try.

Have a look at the part..the hub and bearing are an intgrated part.....For $150 it would not be worth trying to replace the bearing and fix the damaged hub
