it's a Chinese brand, they talked a big line about bringing a competitive street tire (RS595) to the US and never delivered on the tire or the low cost they promoted

FEDERAL 595 RS-R
bump, bumping this even though its old... searched "federal" and only 3 threads popped up..
the tires are available in the US now apparently.

CHEAPEST PRICE: Onlinetires.com ~500-600 shipped for a set of 4(call before you order, the website has a tendency to take your money before verifying if they have it in stock, and then dont send an email out from what ive been reading)

Havnt heard much about people daily'ing them (just looking at the tire looks like it isnt fun in the wet)

so far the general consensus on these tires are that they have massive grip in the beginning but get greasy fast on track. They dont handle heat very well. Im thinking that this would be good for a daily/mountain tire. Peak grip is there in the beginning and you wouldnt reach track-like temps very quickly running on a mountain i wouldnt think. THESE ARE NOT THE 595SS!! Apparently those tires sucked ***.

Mixed reviews all over the place on these tires, some say they last 5k miles other 20k, others 25k. But its hard to find a review on them from someone who daily's them without track miles on them...

I've heard of Federal tires, but I never bought one ever since . They are one of the cheaper tires you could buy in the market, but I doubt it I will buy one for sure. I'd rather get the well known tires than a generic ones...just my .02 cents.
