Falken 452

Anybody fitted these :
Falken 452 235/40/18

Comments please

Not a lot of choice here .
Could get Dunlop direzza dz101 but from what I read they are not that great.

the 235/40/18 is very popular here & is the best size to get a good price on .

No feedback so guess i'll be the guinea pig . Had them fitted today.
Instantly obvious to me now why people trash the OE Bridgestones . I don't have to fight the wheel now to keep the car tracking over rough road .
Will update once I've had a chance to throw it around a bit.

Question

I'm thinking about getting the Falken Fk452 tire too.... after 25,000 miles the original tires are pretty much done!

The performance of the original tires is fine with me, but the noise bothers me a lot. There are a few (newly paved) roads around here where the tires are really quiet, and I really like hearing the engine for a change!

In other words, a tire with the same performance as the original, but a little more quiet would do great for me!

What do you think of the Falkens so far?

Cornering is pretty similar but stability in a straight line & under braking is vastly improved .
Could have been a wheel alignment issue on the old tyre however as they were very worn on the inside
Noise - better but not exactly quiet.
