F@#king Service Department!!!!!

So I purchased some tires from another member on this forum. The tires are in great shape. Today I took them to the dealership to get them installed. The BLOCKHEAD who installed my tires accidentally broke one of my TPMS sensors. And, on top of that, he lost my wheel lock. So now I have to go back after they order both and have the Sensor reinstalled. I just needed someone to vent to.
Thanks for listening.

Oh don't worry. I will. I also talked to the manager there and he is (hopefully) going to do something about that (he says).

have you had problems with this dealership in the past?
How has service been before this visit?

I'm just trying to see if there is a pattern of bad service or if this is an isolted incident. Accidents do you happen, even to the best of techs.
If this is a pattern, I highly suggest looking for a new dealership.

Dealerships near San Diego

Check for your wheel lock inside your engine compartment. That's where I found mine after my last visit. Just past the bumper cover on that ledge near the latch. Luckily, it stayed there for the 45 minute drive home.

Funny how you go to the dealer and expect the best and most knowledgeable help you can get but in fact get some idiot that can't tie his shoelaces!

I can't understand the TPMS getting broken, hell people make mistakes. But losing the wheel lock is just plain carelessness!
