Easiest way is to buy springs made to lower the car and use them with stock shocks. This is also the cheapest way (well, the cheapest correct way). Later on you can upgrade the shocks to better aftermarket units like Koni yellows or Tokico D-Specs. Most people advise doing both at the same time because of the cost of having to remove/replace the assemblies twice if you do them seperately. If you don't have the money for both then don't worry about it but eventually you will need new shocks because using lowering springs on stock shocks will wear them out at a faster rate.

Your other option is to buy coilovers which is a set of shocks/springs matched to each other. With coilovers you will get height adjustability and in most cases dampening adjustability as well.

Opinions will vary greatly on what is better but it really comes down to what you want to do with the car. If all you want is the car lowered, I would suggest you just go with some springs then when the shocks wear out you can get a nice set of shocks to go with the springs.

bricks can't act as a poor man's gps. with 3 jumbos in the car you'll never get lost trying to find a place to eat.

Sadly, the Mexicans and Peurto Ricans in my area still do that. :/ Then they think it's JDM when they're swaying to avoid manhole covers, claiming that it can **** up their springs. lol
