Question Camber bolts into front UCA?

I was wondering if any of you have ever had success installing camber bolts to an upper control arm that has a wishbone setup like our Rx8's:

I'm trying to get near another 2 degrees of negative camber in front but there are no adjustable control arms on the market and my LCA's are already maxed. I was hoping camber bolts like these could help pull in that upper control arm:

I know its a stretch because I'm sure I would have heard about it if someone has. But in any case, does anyone know the size of those two top bolts? I know the location of those bolts put a lot of stress on them but I can pick up some heavy duty camber bolts if I can find out the right size. And of course the dealership is completely useless.

Thanks
~Danny

I don't need camber from the lower arm. I need to pull in the top. Adjusting for more camber from the lower arm barely makes a difference in fender clearance.

With double wishbone I know you can do camber offset bushings, upper and lower will apparently net you an extra degree, but IDK how you get more than that. Curious as well.

yeah and those bushings are insanely expensive. I could get new arms fabbed for less than the cost of all 4 bushings.

Adjusting the upper will limit the clearance to the shock. .. and limit the wheel width ..you still need offset...there is no way to cheat and get eceeything

But with enough negative camber it would limit tire diameter first. Rofl

My wheels dont have offset. There is SO much room between inner rim and suspension.

So apparently replacing all those bushings in front (upper and lower) will get you another degree maximum. And thats paying $350 a pair. Insane.
I finally got a response from Touge Factory:
"I can't say that I've tried, but I feel those bolts won't work. I'm
pretty sure that the nuts for the upper control arm bolts are welded in
which wouldn't allow the bolt to spin freely to set camber. The bolts
are designed to work on a McPherson suspension type."

So it looks like I'm back to my last resort of shortening the original control arms. Does anyone know if they're actually made out of aluminum? To get that extra 2 degrees the control arm will need to be shortened about 1/8".

you need offset UCA bushings

the bolts won't work because our UCA has the bolt nut integral to the control arm tab, so there is no way to get the bolt tight and have the cam align in the proper place, also due to the size of the bolt needed the cam wouldn't be very big with a small camber change

Whiteline makes a urethane UCA camber bushing for the RX8

I just had a set of the Speedsource delrin UCA bushings custom modified to accomplish the same thing. Might consider offering them for sale if I can get the machinist to provide a reasonable price and there is enough interest. They added almost -0.75 deg more camber, but that's what it will generally cost so take it or leave it.

Yeah that's just not enough for me. I would rather save up and have some custom arms fabbed up.
Out of curiosity though, how much would those bushings cost?
