235 would be even safer

dezau 02-17-2011 05:01 PM

right... i'm on coils but my 8.5 +25 made me rub, i have 245s

J8635621 02-17-2011 05:09 PM

I bet it rubs on the bumper tab in the rear, right?

dezau 02-17-2011 05:12 PM

no idea, i trimmed the bumper tabs and rolled the fenders a long time ago lol

J8635621 02-17-2011 05:19 PM

And it still rubs or you fixed it? Anyways 9.5 +38 with 275/35 is no problem with rolled fenders.

dezau 02-17-2011 05:28 PM

nope~~

kenken3686 02-17-2011 05:48 PM

I have -2 camber on the rear...

Don't think I can get away without rolling them?

Its a pain in the ass, and I don't know how to roll it.

Also, do you think I will have a understeering issue?

kenken3686 02-17-2011 05:51 PM

I tried searching for the new version of CR KAI on the website. (Jap and USA)

Its not there, but the shop even show me a real picture of it sent from Japan + brochure with the new rims from Work.

I guess it is brand new production.

Maybe you won't need them rolled, but my money is on you will require it.

Rolling fenders isn't hard to do yourself (with the right tools) and isn't expensive. There has to be a shop or group of car people close to you.

I've heard from people that they don't feel like their steering went to crap, but obviously you increased the rear contact patch a lot more than the front. It's gonna feel different.

Just ordered my CR Kais. 17x9 +28.
When i talked Work, they said that my offset is on back order, so i have to wait till APRIL! Oh well, its worth it.

kenken3686 02-18-2011 12:39 PM

That is pretty much how long I have to wait to.

I hope just not longer...

Lets share some photos in April =)

TrevorsTII 02-18-2011 12:44 PM

kenken3686 02-18-2011 12:53 PM

This wait is painful... end of April...

I am excited but a little concern that I went staggered.

Hmm why did you go with staggered wheels?

Im staggered and I dont regret it one bit! I think you only notice a negative if you track the car. For street its fine.

J8635621 03-01-2011 01:51 PM

You also think staggered means having the front wheels sunken though. ^
