Hey guys im lookin to get myself a set of work emotion CR Kai 8.5 in the front and 9.5 in the rear but I was wondering if any of you can give me any tips on offsets, tyres and anything else I may need to know.
Im currently running on stock suspension but will eventually get some coilovers .
you guys are my only hope the OC here in the UK are a bit boring when it comes to aftermarket the most adventurous they get is Mazdaspeed.

tilt, does popping the back of the hood really help with venting? looks like you hit a big rig at 5 mph.. haha

No, it'll probably make it worse as far as removing heat.

I've got both trays that sit over the radiator fans removed - much of the air from the radiators is being pumped into the engine bay. When the hood is high enough to allow air to travel not only in/out the back, but also the sides, there's certainly circulation going on. Id much rather air circulation in the engine bay than stagnant heat. Also, I recently put on my hood regularly and now find that after long drives my engine bay is HOT! Before, when I had this mod, my entire engine bay was warm to the touch.

I really should just log some temps to shut all the haters up, or depressingly prove myself wrong!

My stand on the mod - If you've got the radiator fans exposed (must reloacate battery + remove battery tray + have aem/MS intake + remove intake tray) then I do believe this mod to work. If it were only open in the back, then it may be a different story. Sides are open + air flowing in from the front -> circulation is taking place...

damn dude you wrote like a page lol; so many other factors tho, take a stock car, do this same day, near the same time record the temps, and prove me wrong.
but I remember reading an in depth article in a forum or a mag about this.
