Do not use household cleaners or other detergents to clean your wheels. The best wheel cleaning solution is a mild soap and water solution (whatever you would trust on the paint of your car).

Clean with a soft, un-abrasive cloth. Only on polished wheels can you use aluminum wheel polish. If you use this polish on chrome, painted, or clear coated wheels, you will only scratch the finish.

Do not use steam cleaners in automatic car washes.

Do not use any tire cleaners on your wheels.

Clean wheels when they are cool. Heat can effect the soap, causing it to dry on the wheel and become difficult to rinse off.

Clean one wheel at a time. This also prevents the soap from drying on to the wheel.

After the wheels are clean and dry, apply a coat of soft paste style wax to them. This will create a moisture barrier and help ensure the finish lasts as long as possible.
you should dry them with a towel too after you clean them instead of letting them air dry. if you let them air dry you might notice a slight haze from leftover soap and also the hard water.

Here are my specs, as comparison...

19x8.5 + 46 (with 245 series tires)
19x9.5 + 40 (with 275 series tires)

Back looks fine....but I'm seriously questioning your front. Who did you get the wheels from?

EDIT: I'm lowered 0.8 with MS components

my fronts are 19x8.5 +30 w/245 and i barely rub when the wheel is completely turned, and when i do rub, its seriously not bad at all, but my car sits lower than yours so it may not rub.

I run 19x8.5 +40 255/35 and do not rub and no fender roll. I can lock out the wheels both ways and it is lowered 1.5" up front.

Mine aren't Volk but I have 19x8.5 35mm 245/35 in the front and when the wheels are at full turn I'm about a half inch from rubbing. Rubbing is no good, so I hope the 255 end up working for you.

Quick question, those of you with +38 offset, do you guys did any fender rolling or shaving at all? I don't know how to use the offset calculators so spare me the flame. Thanks in advance

Shaving or rolling your fenders would be an easier solution than new springs. Unless the rates are really stiff, it might not even fix the rubbing.

It wont help Mike. Had the same problem with Lesper4's ride. He bought a set ofVolks from another forum member, who bought them originally off a guy with an EVO....the offsets were not perfect. He had Tein S techs, switched to Racing Beats, still rubs.

+1 for "rolling"/"shaving".
