Anyone have the gunmetal on a sunlight silver? currently im running japanese oem charcoal wheels and I'm stuck between the black and the gunmetal on these. I do plan on putting a carbon fiber ground effects kit so maybe black would be best, but I have red calipers so gunmetal looks great with them lol... argh the choices.

I see what you did there.Does the 2mm difference in offset really make that much of a difference? Have you rubbed at all in the rear? I rubbed with like 700 lbs in the car but it was soo minimal that all I need to do is shave some plastic tab that is sticking out...I think I posted a pic before.

at that was only minimal rubbing...
my suspension is pretty basic - just swift mach springs .8" drop w/a some "slightly modded" oem struts.
my camber is set at -1.2F and -1.5R (last i checked).
i also shaved my inside fender well plastics.
i suppose the answer to your intial question about the offset is that it's not completely due to my offset choice but my suspension specs.

All of us are over 6 ft tall and weigh between 190 lbs and 290lbs. For a gran total of about 690lbs...LOL! I too have a drop with Tein S-Techs and Koni Yellows. It barely rubbed though...I still haven't shaved the plastic inside the wheel well. I should be doing that soon.

Here's a pic of my rims to keep it on topic...

I almost had my wheels last week... almost... Drove like mad in the rain for 2 hours to get to the store to pick up the wheels/tires. We made it juuust in time, walked in and looked through a little window at the wheels. I said, 'those aren't the right color.' Walked through the door and looked at them closer and I said again, 'those aren't the right color.' My BF did a little damage control and told me to wait outside. I was LIVID. Paperwork says gunmetal, boxes say gunmetal, wheels are matte black. Forgestar packed the wrong wheels. 4 hour round trip in crappy weather to have the wrong wheels.
So, I can only hope the RIGHT ones come in before I have to put the 8 away for the winter. It already snowed this morning!!
