Rub a DUB!
So guess what...it rubbed BUT VERY LITTLE
Senerio...3 guys...1 weighs 190 lbs, another weighs 220 lbs, and the other weighs like 280 lbs...All above 6 ft tall climb into an Rx8 and that puppy hunkers down. We are off and bump...psshhhhhh. What was that...It rubbed.
I checked the tire and nothing...Both inside and outside edge. The I noticed how close the plastic in this pic was to the tire...
It was MUCH closer when the guys were in the car. We are talking only 1/8 of an inch away from the tire.
Solution: Dremel time! Make plastic go bye bye. I may even post the step by step.
Note: I am still guessing this is what rubbed. I will take the wheel off and inspect all plastics to verify and remember this happened with 690 lbs in the car. If I had my girl and her son in the car during a race (370 lbs) I could be pulling 1 G and it prob would not rub unless I bottomed out the suspension on an uneven bumpy surface at very high speed.

Can someone please answer my question? How do I change the name of this thread to calling all Forgestars?
I tried to edit the first post but that only affected the tittle of the post itself and not the thread.

I was thinking that but too much good info and pics to repost all over again. I kinda like the "stop stealing my thunder Angel"...Gives the thread character. I sent Zoom a PM to change the title.

Hey Chris, I might leave the 20's for the show if I cant have the car aligned before. I don't want to mess up the new falken azenis on the f14's. That way there's no stealing no thunder like you say.. At least at the show that is... lol
