I would probably stick with the popular +42. I mostly just want a flush look with a little concave.

There's a good chance that at full load w/some weight in the car you might end up rubbing or worse; grabbing the fender.

Slimming down to 255/35's would give you a better chance (slight) of not grabbing...

imo, pay a reputable shop to roll your fenders just to be safe. I'd rather pay $100 to roll my fenders and get the proper tires than run a risk of accidently grabbing a fender n' damaging it...which will end up costing a ****-ton more.

w/a fender roll you can probably go up as far as 285's w/out any worry.

I'll start looking for shops. Most of the shops in my area are ghetto. Lol and there are very few forum members in my area. It looks like I'll be ordering 255/35

265/35 on a +38 offset with progress springs (little more than 1" drop) and no rubbing issues!

On tire rack it's about 90(?) more for a set which isn't bad. If i roll the fenders i shouldn't have rubbing issues with the 265 right? And naw I'm gonna get the gunmetal, not really into the complete black look. lol Forgestar said i could order directly from them so that will probably be what i do.

^i currently have 265/35's on 18x10 +40 (pics are in this thread) w/rolled fenders

-1.2 camber approx. - i only experience light rubbing on the plastics at full lock under moderate load or going up steep driveways.

Well forgestar just e-mailed me saying it would be 1360+ 155 shipping. They have a set ready right now but i gotta wait for my tax return. Did you ever figure out what was up with your rear camber? With that camber are you getting the full contact of a 265?

BTW- sorry for the thread jack.lol

yeah man, i have no issue w/contact patch/scrub, full contact like the NFL - when i first went to the shop to fix my camber after i got these wheels they were JACKED! i almost had -2 on one of my rears n' -1.1 on my front lol -

Last i recall - i had it dialed in @ -1.2F n' -1.5R. I had some issues w/my rear springs/shocks because i'm experiencing some spring sag... I hope to get a fat tax return to jump on some new coilovers for the spring...

My camber specs are -1.7 in front -1.9 in rear with zero toe and depending on how much room I have with the taller tire in front, I may throw on 5mm spacers all around.
I was OK with the price..I have seen a lot worse

I am running 1.7F and 1.8R, I was surprised when the shop guy told me factory was 2.0...seems high for street tires but my Michelin pilot sport a/s plus have held up great for 3 sets now.

I have his same setup suspension wise:

18x10 +42 with 265/35's and a fendor roll in the back. With 800 lbs of people in the car it rubbed slightly when going up a shopping center driveway but thats it. To solve this there is a plastic tab that needs to be shaved down and thats it.

LMAO!! Copy Cat! Exactly what I have installed. The tires believe it or not are a good amature autocross tire as they are very intuitive and easy to learn from. Not the stickiest tire but definatly worth the money and awesome in the rain.

P.S. I paid $1286 from a local shop here called Autoglitz. I suggest you do a google search and give them a call. They are located in Ft. Lauderdale Florida. Not sure what shipping will be but thell them Chris with the Rx8 sent ya.

The reason why i like these tires is that they will be good as a daily but i will be able to have grip during spirited driving. Especially for when i got up to deals gap. I tried to go on their website but it wasn't working for me. I was able to send them an e-mail so hopefully they can help me out. Thank you for the referral!

Update: So i ended up just calling them because my e-mails have gone unanswered. They said they are going to call me back with a quote. If nothing happens by the time my tax return comes in I'm just going to order from the factory.

They are extremely busy but there in person customer service is very good. I never had to deal with them over e-mail so I dont know. Plus it's a small company. So if you go a little out of your way and call them I am sure the price should be good. Did you mention me? If you get any difficulty I can call and find out whats up.

I called them and they gave me the price for everything. Thanks for the referral they gave me a better deal then forgestar was going to give me. Did you get black lug nuts from them? If so were they all locking? I forgot to ask when i talked to them. I should be ordering everything next week.

AWESOME! I knew they would! I got the black lugs from them and they were all locking. Either way don't hesitate to ask them when you order. Just to make sure.

Was the price more or less in line with what I told you?

The price you told me was spot on. The only decision i gotta make is if i should have the wheels and tires sent to them and have them mount the wheel on the tire. Or just have everything sent to me and have a local shop do it.
