Before someone tells me they aren't feeling the spiral rims I KNOW. Sorry to seem rude but I get it. However I hate following the crowd. Almost everyone on here has straight spoked rims and that's your thing congrats. However I just love my rims and they were bought with a long term goal in mind, so while I appreciate your comments....I like them and that's really all that matters to me

RPF1s look great. Even the standard silver ones look way better in person than i thought they would. Here is a pic of them on my 05 wb rx8. Might not look this good on your car, since winning blue is the shizznit and is discontinued

i actually like them. all the wheel websites that let you look at your car with different wheels made them look like crap though. its nice to see what they actually look like on a real car.

thanx man I didn't mean to be so judgmental, it just gets old hearing that someone isn't feeling them. Give me about another year and I'll have everyone wishing they had em Also, I had the first set on the East Coast...so that's kinda cool

Powder coat black?

Ok peeps...

Honest opinions and give me some specifics why so I understand...

I just ordered some RPF1's (thanks Brian @ goodwin) and although I love how they look now (Silver), I've really wanted some black face wheels.

I've read tons of things on the net about how Bad powder coating rims are...

Is it really that bad of an idea to powder coat my new RPF1s black?

I've read that if powder coating is going to happen then to specify heat treatment at 200 degrees instead of the typical 400 degree treatment so that the wheel doesnt weaken?

Please... some advice...

Rocky

Love the wheels

Not sure about the sidewalls. Your car looks kinda jacked up (as in raised) but it may due to the black lip on the wheels. Also it appears you could use some negative camber to get the wheels tucked in a bit.

Drop and clears up next?

What the size on those wheels? They look to be way too wide.

18x9.5 with +45mm offset.

They are a perfect fit. The pics I took are terrible. Some type of optical illusion that makes the rims look like they are sticking out.
