Anyone have info on clearance with bbk? Looking into a 18" NT03 or RPF1 Searching on other message boards seems to come up with mixed answers.

From what I have read on here 17" RPF1 is to small for a BBK but 18" seams to work. I know TeamRX8 has a BBK with 18' RPF1's

I was set on a set of RPF1s, I looked through this ENTIRE post and now I think I'm going NT03. Its been such a classic design for a long time, remember when I saw them for the first time on a Subaru Rally car. Only issue I see is the offset, in the 18x9.5 its a 40 offset. Id run a 255/40/18 tire, and a maybe an 1" lowering (2010 R3). Would I have rub issues?

Well, all the other 9.5 width wheels I've seen are 45 offset. Just wanted to be sure

I've been liking the idea of running 17's more and more each time I go through this thread. Yep, looks like I'll be going with RPF1's in 17x10 +38 w/ 275/40/17's.

Funny, I was just looking at a set of those exact wheels - Enkei RPF1 38mm offset 5x114 for RX8, 17x10

Running them with 275/40s would sit pretty flush with the fender I assume?

Count me in the Enkei club. I'm transitioning from Work XD9s to NT03 SBCs. Already placed an order and will take about a month to arrive from the factory. I'll take pictures as soon as I receive and mount them.
