I'm Joining the RPF1 club now :D

Ordered some RPF1s in 18x9.5 ET38. Ordered them from LSD Motorsport in California as they gave me the best deal shipped to england

I've got new tyres on my OE wheels at the moment so i might swap them over till i need ne ones then go for some 265/40/18

Why would you think stretch is your friend? Why don't you run wider tires for the track? I can fit 275/40/17 tires with my 17x9 +45 RPF1's.

Track means long straights where the added weight and friction can counteract the added grip from the corners when you can get adequate grip from a thinner tire. Autocross is a different beast though. 265/40 is too tall

yeah i see what your getting at. i wont be doing autocross or even competing. just big fast tracks, like Silverstone, most of the time your doing 100mph plus.

so would be be worth running smaller tyres to eliminate tyre flex?

Arived and mounted yesterday. I think they forgot to include stickers? For that price I should have gotten stickers
