Ok, well I'm wondering if 245 45 R17 would work on 17x9 with 45 offset.

As for the flush thing, I'm basically trying to avoid the wheels from going outside of the fender and do not want to roll the fenders either.
I'm trying to get a wide tire and good sidewall support.

I have no intentions on "pimping" my ride if that means anything.

245 on a 9 is a wide tire now? You can go all the way up to a 275 easy.

That's true, also provided you're willing to go to a 35 profile. In areas with poor roads (like here) going with a very short sidewall can be problematic and hence the compromise.

Sidewall on a 245/45/17 is taller than 225/45/18 and pretty much the same as 275/40/17.

Did you end up getting them? If so, post some pics.

I run 17x9 +35 with 275/40, front is perfect, slight rub in back, fixed with minor -neg camber OR fender roll.

^Tires, I'm guessing you want a competitive street tire if your going to track?

Check out the following

Nitto NT05
Bridgestone RE-11
Dunlop Star Spec
Kumho XS
Yokohama AD08
Toyo R1R

If your looking for an R Compound, check out the Nitto NT01 or the BFG R1.

Personally I would choose the Nitto NT05. They are cheaper then every tire listed except for the XS. And they are also a harder compound which only gets better as it heats up. Which will be much better for Track events than a softer AutoCross compound tire that will start to chunk on the track.

I am currently on 275/35/18 NT05's and have written a review of them here https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/impressions-new-nitto-nt05-184327/

Talking

Im going to be using my enkei for mostly daily driving.. i will use it in track when i can... but i will still be driving pretty aggressive in my neighborhood .. im lowering it with sprint or the tein s springs paired with koni yellows for now but not sure if i should get springs because i don't want to rub too much.. still researching what lowering springs gives best performance and still be able to keep stock comfort feel or closest to stock feel.. i just dont want to feel all of the rocks/cracks/everything! on the road...

Dump the TPMS and black tape the light. At least that is what I did. Never trusted those sensors in the first place.

1. Extra weight from the TPMS that then requires wheel weights which make the wheel look worse. 2. Extra stuff to go wrong

^I'm not a fan of them. I mean 18x8 and 22lbs...That's a bit much, when my RPF1's are 18x9.5 and 18.4lbs. and my 18x9 RE30's are 17.4lbs..

Slightly over-condescending reply to people who are doing all the work for you. It would have been better to say, "I know they are not needed but I would like to keep the complete functionality of the car, so could someone please say if they will work with the rims?" instead of putting a dick reply like that.
