Bolt Pattern Problem?

So I went to check out some MMR's the other day. They were 19x9.5's in back with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern, which is our bolt pattern if I'm not mistaken.

However, when I went to test fit the rims they wouldn't fit. No matter how hard I tried, the bolts were spread out a little more than my set up. I'm running OEMs right now so I know its not my car.

Anyone have any clue what it could of been?

Here's the rims on another 8

i can't imagine what it might have been, but yeah, our bolt pattern is 114.3 so it should work but that's very odd. There might be something to do with the hubcentric ring on the inside but that's all I can think that might have possibly gotten in the way.

Thats what I thought, because they are Euro wheels. But on the wheel it said 114.3. Which is what was so weird to me.
