Blue calipers on a Ti?
Okay, okay. I know this subject has been beat to death. However, despite searching, I haven't found a picture of a Ti with blue calipers. I'll either go with red w/ Polak's white RX-8 stencil, or blue w/white... if I can see that it looks decent.
I want to use the G2 paint system, and I'm not sure yet about the blue they offer (see below). Anyone think it would look good against the grey? Anyone have pics of this combination? Thanks in advance!

Blue might be ok, I used to see a school with grey and blue as their school colors and it looked good to me. I'd suggest white but that'd get dirty so fast...

I have black with white letters on my Tit grey... But I also use a purple color tape on my lights on track days and it looks pretty good. Soooooo, I am thinking a light purple or at least a purplish blue. Not sea blue though...

Why not just stick blue painters tape over your caliper and see if you like the contrast or not?

And if you are still unsure about you can set up a vote on it

Yeah, of course blue goes with gray, as Dinhx8 pointed out. I just wasn't sold on the shade of blue from the G2 kit. Also doesn't have the "flash" that red or yellow offer, but it would a nice understated look if the blue was dark enough.

Just out of curiousity I did a cheap photoshop of that color on a Ti gray. Its hard to get the exact color off the brake kit photo because of the lighting and reflections, but anyways it might be a bit of an idea.

i hate the whole idea of painting calipers. I feel that it cheapens the look of the car. Very popular with the honda boys in the mid 1990's.. "If" I would paint them, it would have to match the factory color.
