BC Racing Coilovers....?
Hey guys,
Im interested in getting some coilovers but I wanted to get some opinions on BC racing coilovers. I tried a search but couldnt find anything on these specific ones.
Now I know theyre not the best in the world but are they any good at all.
First things first I do not want a stiffer ride than stock, I just want them for adjustability.

Im worried that even on the softest setting it will still be rock hard and annoying over bumpy roads....anyone know if this would be the case?

i had them for about a year? maybe a little less and i had them on almost the hardest setting so i'm not too sure about the softest setting, but i liked them. you can adjust the dampening easy peasy lemon squeezey because the rear struts are wayyyy shorter than all of the other brands. they also give a pretty decent drop if you're looking to lower it. they're a pretty good choice for a small budget. i would also advise you to look at the powertrix coilovers. although they're brand new, all kinks have been worked out of them and they're only a couple hundred more than the bc racing. also the the powertrix build looks more sturdy than the bc racing, though that is probably because of the design difference. if i may ask, what are you looking to achieve out of your coilover choice?? performance? looks? or just something aftermarket??

If you haven't already, give powertrix coilovers a look. Currently, there is a special going on, extending Group Buy pricing to 4 additional sets. i'm running the powertrix coils now but i do remember having it on about 16/32 up front and 18/32 in the rear when i first installed the bc racing, and it was a SIGNIFICANT difference from stock. they were already broken in because i bought them used but it was a lot stiffer than stock. i would think that if you went with aftermarket coilovers just to have them, none of them would be as soft as stock even at the softest setting, but i'm not sure

Hey mate
Had the BC BR range for about 3.5 years now, no leaks or anything, reliability is solid.
Now this i quote the sales person, i do not know the hard info behind this, and suggest you take it as a sales pitch as i did, but letting you know.
BC is a taiwan company that produces greddy coil overs, and basically stole few aspects of their design and their improvements to make their coil over range.
Over here in Australia the coil overs are used by many people in EVO's as their coil over of choice for that particular price range, and track use suggests they will hold, but not for drifting.
In terms of stiffness, i have it set about half way, and it produces a noticeable stiffer suspension, but quite comfortable and you feel the coil overs at work over stock. Remeber the adjustment wont give you night and day difference in stiffness, but rather fine tune (with these coilovers anyways)
