Alignment question

Simple question...should I bother getting an alignment done after putting on a set of Tein S-Techs (already used by a previous owner for about 4k miles) on stock shocks?

Thanks

Yes, I didn't.... I have Tanabe's though... And my RR tire is cambered and the tire is wearing unevenly. As of right now, I just need one tire, but who only buys one tire? So I'm having to buy at least two new tires prematurely.... Just spend the extra couple bucks, and get it aligned.

depends what all you took off to put the springs on... if you took off your control arms then you probably didnt get them lined up perfectly again. It obviously wouldnt hurt to get one, but if you removed the control arms i would say to do it.

Do the alignment... As you lower the car the front tires toe out. Rear camber and thrust angles also change. You MUST realign it.

x2.

an alignment is cheaper than the damage you are going to do to your tires.

if you don't unbolt any of the control arms, then you will run with slight toe changes that will not affect tire wear as much.

but it's always a good idea to do an alignment.

If you do the install properly ( ie don't pre-load any of the bushings )

by the time you drive to the alignment shop they will have settled properly.

Otherwise...you could drive it around for a day or so.....to make sure. Won't cause too many problems with that kind of drop
