245/40 on a 9.5 is perfect to maximize mechanical grip while keeping maximum stiffness in the sidewall for better response. I'd personally prefer a 255/35 to the 245/40 simply because of the lower OD which helps with gearing/responsiveness in itself.

I like your moves..... I can see the logic in your posts.

If I needed new tires I'd go 275/35 for FI but a 255/35 NA would be a great combo.

had to roll fenders in the back; will have to do slight pull too b/c it rubs in heavy cornering
Shave down your rear bumper/fender connecting point rather than pulling out the fender - that's where it's rubbing. If your tires get torn up, the rubber has met metal aka you're hitting the fender. If your tires have light scrapes with some black peeling plastic, its the connecting point. From those pics it looks like its the bumper connecting point; to be sure, back up your car with one wheel on a ramp/curb incline slowly until you hear/feel it touch. Get out and do some inspecting to find the exact source of problem

255/35 on a 9.5 or potentially 10 is one of the better bets NA, IMHO. I wish I could move 275's like the big boys

Thanks man. Yes those are the specs. I picked them up this weekend.

It just snowed a ton so it might be awhile before I get more pics.

^I hope his plans are to add a more aggressive front bumper, because it looks a bit odd as it is now from the front shot..
