245's have been done by "thejew". Ask him how the fitment was. I agree with toppy though, shoot for 265's.

with 265s you will need to roll and pull front and rear, also lots of negative camber. ive been messing around with some junk tires i picked up on my spare wheel and ive found that if you just want to roll the rear you can get away with 255/40s all around. ill have to go find the pics i took of that setup so you can see.

heres some pics of the 255/40/18s

I needs some low offset FS-01s to make my car fit this thread... Stock rims with negative camber = tuck..... equals mega fail.

No coilovers for me, but H&R springs have good drop... measure 30 times, buy once, i guess....

255/40 is too tall of a tire, it causes many problems when attempting a setup like this (as you can see). 265/35 is almost an easier fit because of the shorter OD.

Alright after much debate I'm contemplating going aggressive. My ideal setup is to get a deep lip rim flush with the fender without slamming it down on the wheels. I like effectively low, but not slamming it to drag which is not great looking IMO.

Front 18x8.5, 30mm offset w/ 245's
Rear 18x9 or 9.5, 20-25mm offset w/ 255's or 265's

I'm not positive that this will align the front and rear up together well or not flush with one another and the fenders. I'm also not looking to stretch the tire and do that look, not appealing either for myself. I prefer the efficient tire size for the wheel for best performance.

Wheel brands? Axis, Advan, Work, Volks, SSR, Konig, Enkei are a few to name I've been looking at. I'm looking for opinions on what wheel brands are good to look at and which are not so great and/or knock offs such as Advanti possibly.

The only site I've found with weight comparisons so far is 1010tires.com so any more that are well known, toss em my way.

I like the style I've seen in Canary's Work rims setup and NYC Drift King's old setup (no idea what wheel brand). Currently using stock height but looking to lower. I plan on hooking up the rims on the car first with a stock ride height and then lowering the car to see how low I'd prefer it to go to make it look good.

I've researched for weeks on this and seen many various offsets, rim sizes, styles, etc. Based on what I've noted and a few car styles I've liked what are your best opinions, experiences with the wheel sizes on your height, recommended tires, etc?

Discuss

*edit* The wheels I'm looking for are deep lip style. In other words something like around what Axis shine would be, hardly any or no concave, convex within the pattern . It can be 5-6 spoke or even web design if tasteful.

If you read this entire thread, you will find your answer as well as have a good idea of what the aggressive look is all about and what people are doing to get there.

Research what happens when an offset changes.

We can not decide things for you....Good Luck

Looking at some 18x9 rota gforce drifts in +30 offset.

If i use a 10mm spacer does that make them equivalent to a +20 offset?
as i want something more aggressive than +30
