No love?

Heaven forbid its not an MS kit.

Work in progress but it will all make sense when I'm done. It cleans up the back end so much its ridiculous. Car shoulda been like this from the get go. All that bulky cheap looking plastic had to go. Wheels are 19X9 AMEs with some horrendous offset, I could use spacers but that's cheating lol. Temporary until spring while the car sits, no biggie. New color/ look comin for next year, just havin fun with the toy going a different route. The TiG with CF parts scene is a little crowded now lol. Modding can go beyond simple wheels and a drop..

Thanks.

I never cared for em either but they grow on you a little. They are the original ones I had on the car back in the day:

Lol I'm an ***, and proud of it so welcome to the club hahaha. Don't get me wrong, I'm a nice guy but who doesn't like bein a douche every once in a while..

And the new setup is 19X10.5 +20s hard fit but hopefully itll work. A nice wacky color and the car color itself will be a little left field. I figured if I kept the car I'd just get all whacky with it and have fun.

As for the rest of your comment - well of course modding can be whatever you want. Everything from OE wheels with a small drop cleanly done to wild body kit - it's all good.

Personally I'm not the hugest fan but hey, I'm sure you'll be happy with your final product. That oem spoiler is really hurting right now, as is the stock catback, and that you haven't cut your heat shield yet lol.

edit: Actually, the MS rear is great IMO, regardless of whether it's played out or not. Anyways, good luck with the build!

Nothing is "killing" the look, theirs nothing to it yet but the bumper lol. Thats not the trunk I'll be using, not the spoiler, not the exhaust, the bottom of the bumper hasn't been finished with the mesh either. Also need side skirts to complete the look because of how low the body is now.

I literally sold everything from the last build, from the gaslid to the trunk to the wheels. New fenders, trunk, spoiler, roof aero, wheels, exhaust, color, roof skin, its all comin bro, don't worry lol.

And I agree with what you said about doing clean mods, but I'm just saying, more credit given for going outside the norm ya feel. Gotta award effort lol. And the MS kit is great and I also agree on it being played out, but then again its an OEM look. I don't consider it a "kit" Its like having a regular body RX8 like yours and sticking the aero kit on it, It changes it but its still oem ya know. I think the MS setup is cool, but I just haven't seen this bumper used and I'm sure it partially has to do with how much of a pain in the a$$ it is to get it to fit. Too much cutting and modifying for most.. The front bumper went on much easier.

Jus goofin off ya know.

Have you seen the, "What not to do to your car" thread? It is full of people putting effort into their ride.

I do not care how much effort/time/money I put into something. If it sucks then it gots to go. There is no special award/reward for trying to be different and pulling off lame mods.

It is all about the results.

I'll respect a car that is largely OEM but done with detail and cared for just as much as a car with a full kit. +2 on end result :D
