I understand perfectly.
This was his original post which I answered thoroughly in the WIFT. For his wheel choice the tire will be sticking out SOO far from the arches. If he wants to look super mexiflush then by all means he can run it. The amount of camber he would need to have just to have the tire sit semi-flush with the fender would defeat the purpose of having wider tires.

I am aiming for a 265/30/19 front and 295/30/19 rear is that possible? I seen some run 19x10 +38 with a 285/30/19 on the rear with no modification to the fenders.
"not a chance. You could maybe run that 265/30/19 in the rear if you dont lower your car that much. I personally wouldn't run wider than a 255/30. There's no point. You have to realize that a x10.5 +25 sticks out 19mm more than a x10 +38."

i have 275/30's on my rear 10.5 inch rims and they look slightly stretched. 285/30 would not be excessive, it would actually fit nicely with pretty much no stretch.

nowadays though, there is a problem with your fitment if it DOES NOT have stretch apparently haha. i personally like sifus fitment a lot =]

yeah but aren't your specs less aggressive than a 10.5 +25? and you run 18's? Correct me if I'm wrong.

I ran 19x10 +20 with 275/35 tires and had MAJOR rubbing issues on coilovers. Granted my sidewall was slightly taller, but I still had to run -6 camber in the rear with a roll, pull, and tabs shaved. And the height wasn't even as close to being as low as I am now.

my wheel specs are 19x9.5 front and 19x10.5 rear. i had the lip increased by one inch all around, so i think the offset is now +20 front/+30 rear? not sure if i calculated it right. (my old specs before re-lipping were 19x8.5 +45 front, 19x9.5 +55 rear)

With a 295 you'd have way less power. And blowing a 255 out at the stomp of the throttle? Are you mid turn cuz I got 245s and mine doesn't break loose in a straight line that easy but will spin circles like a top. Or are you boosted?

I had 265/35s on my 10.5s and there wasn't any stretch. There was with the 255s though...

People have different concepts of what stretch is......and different tires have different actual widths. Whether 265 or 225 on a 10.5 is stretched is not something that will get the same answer from everyone so it is a pointless discussion.

Wow... Your car looks the exact opposite in terms of attractiveness. Do a 180 turn back to stock and start over.

You just want rims? Don't you want the spokes and hub as well? How are you going to put them on your car?
