The little Continental sign next to your front tire inspired that last thought. My mind is truly mysterious and random. I should write for Family Guy or something.

Fixed... i had raised the car a bit to be able to get the jack under it... hard time getting it off the lift since the lift is very close to tbe walls. It is a cabinet shop after all... lol

No wheel is exempt from the laws of physics. Forged or cast if you hit something it will likely break, if it didn't your just lucky.

There is nothing wrong with cast wheels, just won't be quite as strong. Plenty of 'real' wheel makers do wheels in both styles of manufacturing. The real difference is the method and the quality control, that separates the real deal vs. knockoffs.

Well lets take a look at the processes for both wheels and express our opinions based on the facts we can find in the vids/and other info.

Cast forging:

bbs forging:

cast flow forming:

I think there are benefits to each form of wheel development.

Anyone know more about wheels please share.e

According to HRE forged can be stronger and lighter

(But there wheels weigh a ton. they are typically forged spun.)
