Aggressive Wheel Fitment Thread
Thanks, I think I want my car painted a different color lol IDK. Yeah that S2K looks sick. I would actually like to own one but I still have my Turbo 350z and I don't know what my next car will be yet at least until I'm finished with my rx8 which are fine for now. c41250n, that white pearl turbo rx8 is yours
, ****, I did not realize that if so. Must be nice to have two, SHOWS/TRACK, lol.

dude, this thing is sick but what about your other rx8, do you drive that one just as much. I'm sure you have fun with both and are they both turboed? If you plan on doing anything more why not just save for a 3 rotor, it does not have to be over done either, I'd say a good daily driver with 400whp will be nice, lol. Although I would rather have a good 300-325 to the wheels but also have the car handle like its on rails.

LOL
So I got a stellar quote from AssualtTech on the SSR rims
Now I just need to figure out offsets...
I still want to stick with the orignal size of 18x9.5 front 18x11 rear...I was thinking +34mm front and +42mm rear. Thoughts?

I also eluded my snap oversteer issue is more rear shock/spring rate issue, but yes, throttling into a corner is very difficult. Seriously, drive a turbo RX-8 sometime and you'll see what I mean...
Besides, my car a street car, not a dedicated track car. In fact, up here, there are very few tracks I can goto. Fact is I build my car the way I want, and I think a staggered setup A) looks good, B) offers me more rear traction which I need, regardless of potential oversteer, and C) I want it.
I realize a lot of people track their cars and whatnot, and I do when I can, but that's NOT the point of my car, it's built so I like it. Tracking isn't as important to me as, for instance, you obviously due to many factors, and I never claimed to be some track junkie or "Carbon Fiber Time Attack Rx-8, DUH!"
Honestly w/18x11's what tires could fit? I mean, going on a limb here to say they fit under the stock fenders, what tires could actually fit that would yield the benefit of the 'wider wheel, more traction' statement?
Atilla is spot on.
if you want wider tires / more traction the 11 inch wide is not going to work because you'll have trouble clearing the stock feners. It'll need a pull / roll and tons of camber.
Ogre, go 10" wide. Trust me..
275's fit pretty easily.
