You would really need to see the car in person. It is lowered on tein basics for now but I don't like them so I'm going to buy some BC racing coilovers and post more pics then.
Is this sort of aggressive- 18x9.5+30 with 255/35/18 on all four corners. My photo taking skills are not that good and as you can see the sun was no help.

Thanks. No fender work. Me and DANomite were at his shop when he mounted the tires and rims for me. His Rx8 is damn sexy lol. I just thought BC racing because of price and they sit lower in the rear but if you heard that, then it's ok because I was looking at the Tein flex and JIC's coilovers. The only problem I have is that if you were to see the car in person the front looks sick but my rear is still not as low as I want them and I don't think you can do any lowering with the rear on tein basics nor front.

Don't buy coilovers just because they are cheap. You'll be in the same boat you are in now.

A good inexpensive coilover I've heard a lot about are the Stance GR+ units. They are under $1200 and can get you real low, and work pretty nicely. Also the K-Sport Kontrol coilovers are pretty nice and are only around $800 bucks...

IMO the best coilovers for this car is are the KW Variant3's, but they cost close to $2k.

If you can afford the stance, go with stance. They are by far better than anything else available up to $1500

I know what you mean. I thought the tein basics were just good enough for daily driving but they suck, personally. I had a turbo 350z on some $2500 racing coilovers but cannot remember the name and those were probably the best coilovers to have if you even wanted your car slammed to the ground. As for my rx8 I was going to buy some more coilovers in about 3 weeks but I just bought these tein basics and had them on for about a week, LMAO. I was about to buy the stance at first but thought I would be okay with tein basics but I push my car hard through all types of corners and the tein basics are pissing me off and I also need to buy some RB sways. I've seen the KW Variant's on good-win-racing and was also considering those but did not think I would need them for daily driving but I'm the type of guy that will track my car randomly and will push hard through any corner lol. I could def afford more but did not think I would need much because of the rx8's handling stock is pretty good but I hate body roll so much with a passion lol. I know when I get some more coilovers my P45R'S should look even better because I know I have some room for it to be lower.

Lol, maybe to try to get your point across I guess because as I read through some people had issues about what is aggressive. Honestly, no to be rude to anyone but isn't this thread only for aggressive wheel fitments on rx8's or is it just in a general perspective on all cars with aggressive wheel fitments, lmao.

Initially made to attract rx8's but like it or not we all like to see some clean flushness, regardless of car. It also somehow turned into a suspension discussion as well as will it fit section lol

that's a pretty ignorant statement.

BC Racing = Megan Racing = D2 = Apex'i = K-sport

BC Racing manufactures them all in Taiwan.

haha it's cool i enjoy the positive along with the negative comments. Some understand the style, some don't and it's perfectly understandable as to why.

Let's see someone push the boundaries of fitment on an rx-8

Where is the multi quote thingy. Anyways, I've driven a 370z with BC racing coilovers and they sit really low but stiff at the same time but are 30 way adjustable, with that being said I thought they should be good for the rx8 and not even talking about tracking the car to see how it handles but just daily driving and they are only $999 not meaning because they were cheaper then other coilovers I should get them. That was my perspective.

As for posting aggressive fitments on all cars then I guess we should not mind to much because the title of the thread says "aggressive fitment thread" but I would like to see a lot more RX8's with aggressive fitments.

lol

You're right about BC Racing but I think chickenwaffer was just saying that my best bet would be to go with something a bit more expensive but of quality. I don't think he was being ignorant but then again ICCL( I could care less) lol, I'm open minded. I also think he was just saying that there are better coilovers that are not that much more expensive but allow better adjusting and are just simply better overall. So thank you for your advice chicken. alexisthemovie Thank you for telling me BC Racing manufactures all those coilovers. I did not know that. I'll check them out before I get my next set of coilovers.

-Brandon
