Holy stretched tires... why? You could fit 275's on there with a slight fender roll. Those look like 225 or 235

i suppose it's more a point of form over functionality i suppose.

stretched tires on sunk rims FTW!

Throw a 20mm spacer on there and then it makes sense. Well as much sense as low offset wheels with stretched tires can make.

kind of contradictory to both genres. (form/function). For hellaflush/flush it would need to be more aggressive and in function you would need more rubber.

I find it funny, all forums are alike. They think you built the car for them. If he likes the stretched look thats his cup of tea. He posted on an "agressive wheel fitment thread" not a "I rock expensive rims on my underpowered car thread"
Nice car btw angelo

I think the "aggressive specs" need adjusted. Way more people are running 9.5 +35, 9+30 etc. than before. The best way to set it up would be a point system with width/offset/tire size all adding up to form a score and there being a minimum base line for it to be aggressive. I'm not smart enough to set that up so I'll suggest this:
8 +15, 8.5 +20 , 9 +25, 9.5 +30, 10 +35, 10.5 +40

Well - you're right about all forums being alike.

There are people on car forums that actually appreciate cars for what they are - thus making us all similar to an extent.

In this case - i'm not questioning what he likes or dislikes - i'm questiong HIS REASONING. Clearly he favors a certain style (hellaflush). Which is fine - but if he was aiming for it, he missed it by a few millimeters in offset. I'm not telling him he should dump his **** and buy something 'expensive' because that would not only stress his wallet but that still wouldn't necessarily guarantee that he'll achieve the look he was going for. If you haven't noticed - some of the people who have been posting in this thread are achieving a more flush stance w/the correct stretch with off brand wheels.

I have nothing against his choices - i'm just questioning why he decided to go in that direction because there are certain key elements (IMO) he's missing if he wants to fully achieve the look he was aiming for. Not saying i'm the type to sit here and bitch from the stands but i'm certain there are people on this forum are willing to help if he wanted it - myself included.

BUT

if the soul purpose and reason he went with that look was because he simply likes that look - then fine. My opinion still stands where it is and will remain for the rest of the day, month, year or til i die - whichever comes first. And if he chooses to ignore it then that's still fine by me.

just know that his setup still doesn't meet the qualifications of the thread. READ THE FIRST POST.
