4 new nitto 555's ?

just installed 4 new nitto 555's 245/40 - 18 on my stock rim, & im not feeling the look, i had 225/40 before, i thought a wider tire would look better, guess not. my question for u guys is, can i get a wider rim that will give me my old look back, or should i just go back to my previous size tire,

Rims 9 inch wide would be around the same look. your 245/40 would still be a bit taller though.

The profile is a percentage of the width. You increased the width 20mm so if went with 245/35 it would have helped.

Anyway here is a tire calculator.

To the OP, are you sure you have 245/40s on now? Cuz those are actually shorter than the stock tires, 6mm shorter in fact. I always thought the 245/40s looked better then stock. I'm running 275/35s on a 18x9 right now and couldn't be more pleased.
