Evening,
I was just going out to the store, rolling up to a stop sign I put my foot on the clutch to shift to neutral. Clutch was fully depressed, in neutral and come to a complete stop; could audibly hear a click or pop and feel it through the my foot on the clutch pedal. Now, the clutch provides no resistance when depressing until it's almost fully depressed...still engages at that point but the car jumps a bit when it's getting into gear. I also feel like it may be a bit harder to get it into any gear, which I assume means it's barely coming off the flywheel.

Over the last few months, I've kind of felt like the car was a bit more "jerky" than usual when placing into gear, but hadn't encountered any real issues until this. I remember reading about plastic clutch brackets breaking in the past somewhere, do the clutch symptoms at least fall in line with that?

I'm stumped. Worst birthday present ever (and Assassin's Creed 3 will have to wait bc I just headed back home out of panic )

might be your clutch pedal bracket should be covered under the 8yr/100k extended warranty on the clutch bracket

I think that's at least part of it yeah. Sadly I have a feeling it won't be under warranty as I've got 120kish.

~Sigh~ guess I'm calling the dealer in the am.

yea your kind of sol there check your bracket and the pedal if its crooked. There's a vendor that sells a reinforcement bracket as well hit mazmart maybe they can cut you a deal on the bracket

dealer will rip you a new one for a clutch pedal. better off getting one used (or new online somewhere depending the price and your budget) and buying the reinforcement bracket to install with it to help prevent it from happening again.
