It wont start

My car have starting problems during winter, it cranks but it wont start. I know it is starter problem, so last week i took out the starter from the car to show the dealer that i have older version of the starter.
When i was taking taking it off the car i accidently made a short circut between a starter wire and the firewall.
Today i have put the starter back on the car it wont start, it cranks but it wont start. Its not the starter problem, it seems that there is no spark or fuel.
I checked most of the fuses on the car and there are all ok.
Does any one have any idea what could have havepeneed when i made the short curcit?

You have flooded, my dear Dodo. Almost definitely. Too much fuel.

You may have blown a fuse, check the EGI and all the other fuses.

well that could be the case, n if ur winters are extremely bad, contact ur mazda dealer, n ask them since it is cold winters, if they recommend u go to a 5w30, or a 10w20, only becuz its a lot colder, there that would not make the oil so thin, possibly solve ur problem, n the way it sounded, get a new starter, if u shorted it, its done.
