Will it run? Broken siphon hose in fuel pump module

So, whilst replacing my fuel pump, I accidentally snapped the siphon hose adapter. I tried to JB Weld it back in place, with no luck. I need to drive the car to Indiana from New York.

As far as I understand, the siphon nozzle just pulls gas from the other side of the tank via a hose? If I keep my gas level above half a tank, would there be any other issues with having a module with no siphon hose attached?

Should I pull the module back out and retry to weld it?

Of course, I will replace the adapter or the entire module when I get a chance.

Thanks.

It's fine. if your fuel gets down to 1/4 you might run out, keep it topped up and you won't have any problems.

This is what I figured. I just wanted some reassurance I wasn't crazy! Thanks.
