white smoke no cel?? anyone help PLEASE

hey guys this is the 2nd time this happened to me =\ I searched for hours, but still i found stuff that were similar but not my problem...I just turned on my car and drove a bit and white smoke started coming out and i mean crazy amount of white smoke...CEL not on...not really smelling any fumes...so im not sure if its cat failure or what...i dont know what to do and im kinda stuck at a jamba juice cause my car is smoking...anyone help?
EDIT: i live in socal so its really hot right now..so it cant be a warming/cold temp. issue.

This is starting to pop up a bit on here.
White smoke is an indication of a coolant leak into the rotor housing. Dark smoke is oil. How old is your car and how many miles are on it?

The engine is warrantied by Mazda for 8 yrs/100K miles.
Leave the car setting overnight. Before you start it up in the morning remove all plug wires and one sparkplug from each rotor. Turn over the engine and see what kind of fluid comes out.

When mine did this, about 3 yrs ago, the car would sputter for about 10-15 min in the morning when it was first started. It would run fine for the rest of the day. Mazda replaced the engine. It sounds like you are getting a lot more smoke than I did.

With the starter. It won't start because you have removed the spark plug wires.
If the fluid is just gas, your golden and we have to look else where. If it is slippery, like coolant, you have a problem. Have you checked your coolant levels? With the amount of smoke you are describing, it could have gone down a bit.

why would you replace them if you just did so? stop . get the car to a competent garage. have them diagnose whats wrong.

i havent replaced my coils and plugs yet, i took it to a garage yesterday, the mechanic says im burning oil, but he cant figure out why im burning oil ( he was like a dog...he smelled the white fumes and was like i knew it was oil lol)...i asked him if i needed to replace my coils and plugs he said they dont seem bad and besides that doesnt deal with why you are burning oil...anyone know why i would be burning oil?

you're supposed to burn oil- you have a rotary. blue smoke is oil. white smoke is coolant/water. if the mechanic believes white smoke is oil smoke then they are not competent. is there more than one mechanic there that can render an opinion? if so ask for a different person. if not go somewhere else.

i went to multiple mechanics they say the smoke smells like oil burning...yea it doesnt make sense to me either =\ the only thing that i can think of is that when i put lucas in gas compartment...could it be the carb releasing? the white smoke doesnt smell sweet like coolant and it has a smell so it cant be water =\ so could it be carbon build up releasing? what ya think?

p.s. thanks alot zoom ur working very hard on giving me advice and i greatly appreciate it man
