It's been about a month since i just had my 30k service and since i got my car back I've noticed a sort of whining noise that wasn't there before the service. also, since my car was serviced, i took it back the next day for a bad coolant sensor. they replaced the whole thing and everything.

still, this noise comes and goes and when i took it back to them, the noise wasnt present.

To describe the noise, it is similar to when you have the AC on and raising to higher RPMS (maybe its just me). Its a whining or chugging noise.

When is the noise happening? At idle? While driving? A certain speed or rpm?

 

accelerating. you can also hear it when i down shift. it isnt necessarily at higher rpms, but when I hit the throttle you can really tell something isnt right.

 

Try and get a sound clip. Also the stats on your car. Yr, Mileage and Maintenance like last time you changed your spark plugs and stuff like that

just had 30k done maybe 1k ago.

never changed spark plugs. currently at around 32k miles. should i change em?

mods: mspeed intake, hks hi power

 

the spark plugs should have been changed at 30k. Where is the noise coming from?

 

I can't really tell exactly. It's hard to pinpoint the exact location but I would say its coming from the passenger side of the engine bay.

I've been searching and its not a "sand in blender" noise.
