weird heater problem

when I turn heather on the heat only comes from the passenger side vents, while driver side vents blow cold air!?

any idea how is this possible and what should I do to troubleshoot?

ive had the same problem. after searching try flushing the coolant system espicaly the heater core. its easy to get to the hoses at the pass side firewall. it may take a few times mine was pretty bad
