First off let me say how scary it was to watch my first love, lowered with a MS front bumper, get pulled onto a flat bed.

Never the less today I was enjoying some on ramp ripping onto the express way. After getting my fix I was casually giving it gas playing around a little. I have a gutted cat and the car backfires all the time. Although this time the car backfired with a lower sound almost like I ran something over......Then she died. The RPM's slowly dropped and I pulled over. The only other thing I can think of that was acting weird was that within the past few weeks my (6spd AT) would act like I stalled when at a complete stop, then it would start up fine, this only happened a few times.

I'm taking a look at it tomorrow, any ideas of what it might be?
