Warranty issues

Ok here is my problem. I took my car to a dealership in Phoenix cause it was causing me problems while on vacation. They told me my motor mounts were collapsing, but it was under warranty. They also told me that it was a pretty obvious problem and my dealership should have seen that. In the past month alone my car has been in the shop about 3 times. I couldn't get it fixed in Phoenix cause they wouldn't have time before I left (I was only in town for a couple days). So the dealership in my town says that it isn't under warranty. I am out of original warranty and only have the 100k drivetrain warranty. I have 58k miles on it. I need to know which dealer is right. Are the motor mounts covered?

Another thing is my heater core which was replaced under warranty still isn't working right. My Service manager tried to tell me that they just don't blow hot cause the heater core is so small. I know people with rx8s and there's at least works. He also said he would need to talk to his manager to get it approved to replace it again, which I get. I understand cause it in now out of warranty. But, he never calls me back.

Phoenix dealership tells me to call 800-222-5500 and they will get it straightened out with my dealership. They were no help.

Does anyone know if the motor mounts are covered? Also any advice would be great! Sorry is my story is a bit confusing/long.

Motor mounts are covered under 'powertrain' warranty in Canada. However, I'd call the MNAO 800 number to ensure this.

The heat issue is most likely an electrical problem in the dashboard. This is a fairly common problem. There is a simple test for it, and a relatively simple fix. A great post is HERE.

The motor mounts should be covered under your powertrain warranty which I think is 60 mo from the start of your warranty. I had my motor mounts replaced earlier in Feb 09 which could of been covered by the manufacturers powertrain warranty, however mine expired at the end of Jan 09 (I waited a month too long). However, since I have an extended warranty through CARMAX it covered the motor mounts and I only had to pay a $75 deductible. Without my extended warranty the parts and labor were about $360.
