Ok so i get in my car today and try to open the trunk and its not working .I then try to use my remote to open it and the same crap will not work .i check the fuses and everything is ok .i also notice the dam passenger heating button does not turn on. Any ideas ????

 

loose wiring... or check glove compartment, perhaps the valet button for trunk was enabled.

Nothing a little look at the car's owners manual wouldn't have fixed... :p

 

I had the same problem and just seen the bloody buton in the glove department. had the car for nearly 3yrs and never seen the bloody button....now working like a charm. thanks guys

 

lucky you guys, i know where the valet button is but it still is not allowing the trunk to release on the key or pushing the trunk button in the car ( have looked at fuses and for damaged wiring in the trunk. perhaps the release unit is toast
