CA is it true???????

is it true that it is normal to have a red glowing light around the o2 sensor on the cat???????????????

i dont think so, if your cat is glowing its probably going bad. i would inspect it. if you are under 80,000miles i think you can get it replaced under warranty

i thought so some guy on here said that it was normal because i asked that if the o2 sensor was glowing red if was the cat that i had to gut out or the o2 sensor replaced???

it depends on the interpretation i believe. you should never see your cat glowing but its possible to see some glow/ring around the sensor
