transmission replacement
my dad needs a whole new tranny for his MPV b/c the third gear was eaten up.
we had a jerking porblem for a long time, and now the tranny is totally shut down.
i heard that installing a new transmission chip would help because it changes the shifting time etc.. because i really need to fix this car now, can anyone name me specific parts and what i need to buy exactly to fix the transmission? thanks.
BTW, my dad bought a LEXUS GS300 so this MPV is going to be mine once it is fixed up. (i need to save money for my upcoming college life rather than like other teenagers gettin new cars and stuff). help me please guys.
