Unhappy Tranny problem Error CEL code P0748 P0758

Anyone had this problem? I have a 4AT. Under low speed sometime when the car try to shift gear from one to another the tranny locks up and car can only roll at 1-3 MPH and if too fast it lock up again. Its very dangerous cuz car behind me could of ran right into me. When this happen the AT warning light and skid warning light comes up. If I shift to manual shift numbers gear don't light up. I'm getting CEL code:
P0748 Pressure control solenoid
P0758 Shift solenoid B
P0846 Transmisson Fluid Pressure Sensor/ Switch

I check the service manual Pressure control solenoid and shift solenoid B they are under the tranny fix plate.

I want to make sure before I change these solenoids. Anyone ever had this problem? Will change ATF fix the problem? I did try reset the PCM. It helped. But after I shut off the car and ran it again, it did the same. ANy suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Flushing the transmission wouldn't hurt anything but I would run some pressure checks before replacing anything.

okay. I took out the tranny plate and made a big mess. Tranny oil all over the place and myself. There were alot of metal shred on the tranny bottom plate. I took the tranny filter out and there were even more. Damm this turbo kit is really killing the tranny. Test the ohm of Pressure control solenoid and Shift solenoid B . They were all fine. Clean out all the metal shred and put everything back. Put in new tranny oil. Took out for a spin. Car is all good now. Thanks all.

new clean fluid in a trans that had metal shavings everywhere = blown trans.

Seriously i'd start looking into rebuilds or replacements. Most likely the codes were caused by clogged areas caused by the loose metal shavings.

also any time an AT is experiencing shifting problems you DONT want to do a trans flush. Trans flush is a PREVENTATIVE solution, not a repair. In most cases it makes things a lot worse, same thing with if you have never done a trans flush and then do one at 100k.

Ok so sorry to revive an old thread but it'd be nice if this was updated some years later to see how long his remedy lasted? Any chance of that?

Sounds very much like my current issues and I just got a P0758 code this morning I had not gotten previously which is how I found this thread to go along with my other issues with the steering. I also got apparently bogus information from the auto parts store and they said to use Dexron VI when I found a Mazda bulletin that said it should be Dexron III instead so I'm just a bit miffed about that since it is nearly impossible to flush all of the fluid effectively without a massive PITA. How much effect do you suppose that can be having on my issues it's only been in there for a very short period of time and what do you think are the chances it's now damaged my transmission permanently?
Regards in advance.

How did you identify the Solenoid B? I need to identify Solenoid A
