Im not sure if roof linings are what you call the two thin pieces that run from the front to the back of the roof (Ive highlighted in yellow in the pic below) but whatever you call them - mine are now loose. Theyre not so horriblyloose where Ican pull them off - but they can be jiggled around now w/my fingers and occasionally when I take turns I can hear them squealing. Dont know how thehell this has happened to the two roof trims but its really starting to annoy me. Maybe the hot weather down here over time?

Anyone else have a problem w/this yet? Im going to showit to service at next visit. This is yet another new disappointment that has developed for me and Im nearing 30000 miles. Woohoo.

I think that those strips hide welds.

Here's the info on the roof moldings from the shop manual. Maybe you can get a dealer to replace the clips that hold it in place.
