think clutch is gone, but not sure

hey guys im think my clutch is gone on my rx8.. its a 05, 6speed. when i start to drive from a complete stop it takes for ever for my car to start moving, its like a crawl, and also my clutch pedel also squeks a bit when i push it in. and i have to race the hell out of the car to get it to pick up, and when that happens i can smell a funky burning smell.

now what would be a good clutch kit to go with for my car? i need something that can handle a hard driver , i was looking at this
http://www.ebay.com/itm/F1-RACING-ST...item255e3375b0

would that be a good replacement? funds are a bit tight with the holidays comming up, so im not looking for something that is for the track or anything, just something that can handle better wear and tear then my old clutch, im the only person who has owned my rx8 and it only has 53k miles on it so it safe to say i need a good clutch that can handle my hard driving/shifting

The very simple way to tell if your clutch is slipping is if you have it in gear and the RPMs move at an inconsistent rate compared to the vehicle speed. If it's not slipping, it's a solid link, and they move in concert (At whatever ratio of the gear you have it in). If you can punch the gas and the rpms climb without the speed climbing, even just a bit, your clutch is slipping.

"Hard driving" is not "hard shifting", and "hard shifting" doesn't exactly mean clutch abuse. (it could mean transmission abuse). If you rev match everything, your clutch will last a very long time, even if you "shift hard". Clutch material wears out from a difference between speeds of the transmission and engine when you engage whatever gear. The bigger the difference, the greater the wear.

The stock clutch is easily good for 80k+ if you rev match. Mine lasted 89,600. If you are tight on money, I'd say get an OEM clutch and learn to shift better.

Both.

It uses hydraulic lines to disengage the clutch, and is under spring pressure when engaged.

I'm going to avoid commenting on that clutch kit, because I do not have enough aftermarket clutch experience to have an opinion that matters.
