Stock suspension Squeak?
Does anyone else have this problem? If my car has been parked in the cold for a while, and then I start driving, if I go over a speed bump I hear the suspension squeak. The car has 36000 miles on it and is still under warranty. What should I do? I think the problem is that the gas in the shocks hasn't expanded yet, because when the car warms up I don't hear it anymore.

Bump. Does anyone know exactly what to do to fix this because it is getting very annoying and loud. I took a ride with a Mazda tech guy and it didn't squeak because the car was already warm. He said you can't grease the suspension because it is sealed. He thought it was the breaks, but I seriously doubt that. Maybe something might be loose? It does seem to feel that way.

The suspension is completely sealed? how does it attach to the car then? The tech simply doesn't have any basic mechanical knowledge. I can only hope he thought you were talking about greasing the shock absorbers rather then the suspension bushings.
Lubricating the suspension is one of those things that most dealerships will do for you as a part of their regular maintenance routine it should not be an unusual thing to ask for. Ask the service manager about getting the BUSHINGS greased up.

Jack your car up, Well, lets start with the rear first.
Look at your sway bars. Yep, something that looks like a crowbar that connects the left and right of ur suspension. There is some plastic looking thinggy that holds it in between, total of 2.
Take them out and put some Grease in it. install them back, problems resolved.

Yeah I just realized that you lube the bushings when you put on the new swaybars. Do you know if the progress sway bars come with new bushings? If not, where would I get them?

Well I have the same noise coming from all 4 corners, especially the front when I go over speed bumps. The suspension is all aftermarket but after hearing about the bushings, it makes sense. I sprayed some water on the suspension before thinking maybe it had some dirt rubbing and the problem was solved, for 3 days. I'll definitly get Mazda to grease the bushings next time it's serviced.
