Startup Issues
Hey,
I'm having some issues with my 04 rx8 with starting. So far I've replaced the spark plugs and wires, changed the oil/filter, and I replaced the battery about year ago. Here's specifically what happens:
It starts fine if I leave it alone for a few hours. So I don't have trouble getting to work or back. However, if I stop for a minute or two anywhere to get food, or groceries, or whatever, it will have a lot of issues starting. If I stop two or three times, I usually can't expect it to start again. Usually when I am having this problem I can hear it turn over and start to catch. I usually have to sit there and try it for about a minute before it will start...5 or 10 key turns holding it for 5-10 seconds.
