Starting problems (cold start = good / warm start = bad)!
Hello,
I rarely post on here but lately I've been worrying about my 8. I used the search function and read up some other people having starting problems but didn't really see a topic about the problem I'm having. First off, I have an '05 AT Shinka with 60k miles. In the morning, it starts up fine. When I leave work for lunch, it starts up fine. When I leave work to go home, it starts up fine. For the past 3-4 weeks though, I've been having problems with it starting after it's been warmed up. For instance, now it's almost a guarantee that it will have trouble starting after stopping and getting gas on the way home from work right after I come off the highway. I'm usually on the highway for 20-25 minutes doing 70-75 mph. When I get to the gas station I even rev it to 5k rpm before shutting it off. I've had my 8 since 30k miles (4.5 years now) and I haven't changed the coils. I'm thinking it's about time to do that. It was just at the dealer about 3 months ago for new plugs, new cabin/engine filter, and the usual oil change. I just wanted to get the opinion of some other people that seem to know their stuff on here. What do you guys think? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
