Spring or Shock...or Both?
Spring or Shock...or Both?
My '04 with 53,0XX miles is starting to develop some weird noises on the passenger's side front end. I have run Tein H-Tech springs on stock shocks for the past 30-40K miles.
When I take hard left turns, I can hear popping noises. I don't think it's the CV joint as it's not a constant clicking sound. If it's a normal 90-degree turn, I'll hear like 3-5 pops. It doesn't always make the sound, especially if it's a level road and I take normal/slower turns.. It always makes the sound if I turn left, going downhill, slow or fast.
When going straight over rough roads, I can hear creaking/clunking noises from the same front corner.
Is my factory shock blown? I'm suspecting it is. I don't think it's the spring(s).
What do you guys think?
Thanks in advance for any feedback.

You could be hitting a bumpstop I guess. I'd check though and make sure that you don't have a broken endlink though. They are pretty thin and I have seen people snap them with aftermarket springs.
