Hey guys so I did my own search through the threads and can't find what I'm looking For so here it goes 07 rx8 was having idiling problems it kept jumping then even killed itself at one point got it checked out was told that it was the second air injection blower motor (pump) that needs to be replaced did some research and apparently all that pump does is give the cat air on cold starts? So I don't know how it's effecting my idle I also replaced my front o2 sensor which is now throwing a code which I'm getting switched for free so it could possibly be the sensor right? Also when replacing the pump I read that you want to replace the one way check valve right next to it? Thanks for the feedback guys.

 

Do you need to pass emissions? If not you could disconnect the airpump to see if it helps your idle problem
