Hey guys new to the forum and Rx8... Now first off I'm very car illiterate and trying to get all the knowledge to take care of this car.

I recently got my dream car and having the engine light go off for the secondary air injection pump. I have read about some people getting a squeling noise showing its screwed up but I'm not receiving that issue. I've tried looking through youtube with no luck on instructions how to properly remove it or just check it out.

Is there anyway to clean it or check it? I can't seem to find any place selling the part either but still looking. Please dumb this down for me

Buzzing noise for me means nothing, mine does this noise since 2+ years and it still works perfectly (I read AFR so I know it's 100% working).

Anyway if you have the air pump CEL error then probably it's gone; you can read this thread and use search button:
